What can you expect when we work together?

I support individuals who know they want to make a change in their working lives and are ready to commit to doing the work that this entails.  I typically work with clients over a minimum period of three months for one to one coaching or six months for my signature career reboot programme. Following a no- obligation, complimentary discovery call to explore where you want to get to, assess if we are a good 'fit' for each other and discuss how I can help, we will arrange a programme of sessions either virtually or face to face:

  • I mostly coach virtually using zoom, which offers a great deal of flexibility and allows me to work with clients across the UK.

  • For clients based locally to me in South-West London, I can also offer ‘walk and talk’ coaching sessions in the beautiful green spaces on our doorstep.

How can I help you?

I offer a powerful mix of coaching skills and practical career know-how. I will listen to you to find out what you want and need and will tailor my services accordingly so that you can move towards success, whatever that means to you.  I offer a choice of one-to-one coaching packages or a programme which blends coaching with practical support on career strategy, marketing yourself, engaging with head hunters and perfecting your interview technique. I also offer DiSC personality profiling which can help you to understand yourself and others better and help you to communicate more effectively in work situations.

What is my definition of coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative, non-directive conversation between coach and client that can bring about profound change through questions, reflection, choices, and new behaviours.

How does coaching differ from mentoring?

You will sometimes hear ‘coaching’ and ‘mentoring’ used interchangeably in a personal development context. In reality they are two different things. Coaching is about helping the individual to find their own solution rather than offering advice, whereas mentors tend to have relevant experience and share valuable insights to help guide the mentee.  As outlined above, I offer both one to one coaching conversations and  career mentoring sessions.  This approach allows me to offer both transformational coaching and sessions to share insights from my experience within the recruitment industry, where this is appropriate to your needs and agreed with you when we plan our working partnership.

What qualifications and experience do I bring to our coaching conversations?

  • Diploma in Transformational Coaching from the Animas Centre for Coaching. Animas is accredited by the International Coaching Federation, Association for Coaching and EMCC.

  • Level one DiSC certification

  • Two decades of experience in the recruitment industry, with 15 years recruiting at leadership level.

  • Years of personal experience  of 'doing the juggle' and balancing a demanding, fast-paced career with family life.
